Everyone Wins At The Savings Game – at Harewood Mall in the 1980s!

This amazing newspaper ad shows a custom Harewood Mall Monopoly board game, with a ton of old stores across the playing field.

Originally posted by Will Graham on the excellent You know you're from Nanaimo when Facebook page, the paper is from The Nanaimo Daily Free Press sometime around 1986.

Harewood Mall is now known as University Village Shopping Centre.

The full page ad also shows a great pic of the front of the Mall, featuring the old SuperValu logo in all its glory.
