Robin's Donuts Coffee Club

Robin's Donuts was one of the top reasons to hang out at Harewood Mall in the 1980s and 90s.

They had amazing donuts (like the Bizmark and its delicious reverse evil twin, the Fudge Bizmark). They also had a Pac-Mac cocktail table that blew my mind when I was younger.

I can still smell the combination aroma of rich coffee poured into brown and white ceramic mugs – and, of course, cigarette smoke.

I purchased this Robin's Donuts Coffee Club mug from the guy who owned the Fairview Store for all those years, while he was still in business on Second Street. He said he got it at the Harewood Mall location.

Sadly there are no Robin's Donuts left standing in British Columbia. I was fortunate enough to visit the Surrey location on King George Blvd. in 2017 before it closed and took a few pics.
