If you love beer and live in Harewood, Wolf Brewing Company serves an amazing selection of locally-brewed lagers, pilsners, IPAs, ales and more.
And at Wolf, you can drink beer – but you can also eat it!
On a recent trip to The Wolf Den – the company's taproom on Old Victoria Road, we tried the new Mash Pizza – made from the spent grain from Wolf's beer brewing process – and it was delicious.

If you've never tried a pickle pizza, now's your chance – and believe me, it's worth it.
We also ordered the fat-and-salty pretzel sticks, which come with a drool-inducing Beer Cheese Dip.
I had the chance to speak with the amazing folks who run this local treasure, and learned about how Wolf gives back to the local community by donating to a host of charities with their Stronger As A Pack program.

And if you want to pay it forward and buy a round for someone you think deserves it, put their name up on the BEER IT FORWARD chalkboard so they can come in and redeem their glass at any time.
I'll be heading there again soon – for more scrumptious snacks and fresh foamy suds – and you should too.
P.S., if you need a way to beat the heat this summer, try a splash of their Lemon Slushy on top of any beer – frosty and refreshing!
P.P.S, the Nanaimo Historical Society is hosting a guided tour of Wolf Brewing on May 30. Limited space available so pre-register today!
